Menu Bar Items
Manage up to 10 menu bar items. Each item can be customized independently:
Item Settings
- Title: Internal name shown in settings (e.g., "Claude Prompt", "API Key")
- Text: The actual text copied to clipboard when clicked
- Icon Color: Choose from 10 preset colors to visually distinguish items
- Smart Paste: Enable to automatically paste after copying (requires Accessibility permission)
- Keyboard Shortcut: Assign a global shortcut for instant access
Smart Paste Details
When Smart Paste is enabled for an item:
- Your current clipboard is saved before the operation
- The item's text is copied to clipboard
- The text is automatically pasted (Cmd+V) into the active text field
- Your original clipboard is restored after 0.8 seconds
- Requires Accessibility permission (macOS will prompt you on first use)
Accessibility Permission
Smart Paste requires Accessibility permission to simulate keyboard input. To enable:
- macOS will prompt you when you first enable Smart Paste
- Or manually: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility
- Enable the toggle for "Ultrathink"
- If permission is denied, Smart Paste falls back to simple copy
